AssetBolt charges a flat monthly base price that includes an allowance of active assets, plus a per-asset rate on anything above that allowance.
Current prices, included-asset allowances, and overage rates for every plan are always on the pricing page — this article explains how billing works, not what it costs today.
Core — asset lifecycle, check-in/check-out, custom fields, basic access controls, Google and Microsoft sign-in, the audit trail, and CSV/PDF export.
Pro — everything in Core, plus MDM integrations, automations, location tracking, API access, webhooks, and advanced reporting. Most customers want Pro.
Scale — everything in Pro, plus advanced role-based access control and multi-team governance.
Each plan's base price includes an allowance of active assets. Assets above the allowance are charged per asset, per month, at the plan's overage rate. On Scale the rate is graduated — each successive band of assets is cheaper than the last, and only the assets falling inside a band are charged at that band's rate.
The billing page shows your current usage and projects the overage you're on track to pay.
A billable asset is an active device — one that hasn't been deleted and isn't archived.
Nothing else counts. Accessories, components, consumables, licenses, digital assets, and people are all free and unlimited on every plan. So is any device you archive.
AssetBolt meters the peak number of active devices during each billing period, not the number at the end of it.
If you run 800 devices for three weeks and archive 200 on the last day, you're billed on 800.
Prices are shown per month. Billing annually costs less than paying month-to-month — the pricing page shows both rates and the exact saving. Overage is always metered and billed monthly, whichever cadence you choose.
New organizations get a 14-day free trial. A card is required to start, but nothing is charged until the trial ends.
Your subscription keeps working while it's trialing, active, or briefly past due. If a payment fails, there's a two-week grace period to fix it before access is affected.
Upgrade or downgrade from Settings → Billing, where you can also switch between monthly and annual billing. Use Manage billing to reach the Stripe customer portal for invoices and payment methods.
Downgrading to a plan whose allowance is below your current usage requires you to acknowledge the overage you'll be charged. AssetBolt shows you the number before you confirm.
Rename your organization to change the invoice Bill to name. Go to Settings → Organization and update the name. AssetBolt pushes the new name to Stripe right away.
The change applies to future invoices and the Stripe dashboard. Past invoices keep the old name.
If Stripe is temporarily unavailable, the rename still saves in AssetBolt and invoices continue to generate. You may not see the new name in Stripe until it can be updated.
