Every user can control the language and color theme they see in AssetBolt from Settings > Appearance.
Your language can come from two places:
Organization default: set by an admin for the whole organization. See Setting up your organization for where this is configured.
Personal override: choose a language just for yourself from the Appearance page. This takes priority over the organization default.
To go back to the organization's language, select Use organization default in the language dropdown. If the organization's default can't be loaded, the dropdown shows that it's unavailable and the "use organization default" option is temporarily disabled until it loads successfully.
Changing your language triggers a reload of the app so the new language takes effect everywhere.
Choose between three themes:
Light
Dark
System: follows your device or browser setting.
New accounts default to System theme until a theme is explicitly chosen.
If a theme change fails to save (for example, a network error), AssetBolt reverts the display back to your last saved theme and shows an error so you don't end up with a theme that doesn't match what's actually saved.
Language and theme are saved independently. While a change is being saved, the corresponding control is temporarily disabled to prevent conflicting updates; a status message indicates that saving is in progress, and a toast confirms success or failure.
