Notification preferences

Where to find them

Go to Settings → Notifications to control which alerts AssetBolt emails you and when.

Email alerts

Turn on Email notifications and choose an address (it defaults to your account email). You can send a test email to confirm delivery, as long as your account has an email address on file.

Once enabled, you can choose which events email you:

  • License expiring / expired

  • Warranty expiring / expired

  • Low stock

  • Overdue check-in

  • Asset assigned to you

  • Integration sync completed / failed

Daily or weekly digest

Instead of, or alongside, individual alerts, you can turn on a digest that rolls up activity into a single email sent daily or weekly.

How saving works

Each toggle, and the email address field, saves automatically as soon as you change it, there's no separate save button. A status indicator near the top of the page shows:

  • Saving... while a change is being sent

  • Saved once it's confirmed

  • An error message if a change couldn't be saved

If a save fails, the control reverts to the last value that was successfully saved, so what's on screen always reflects what's actually stored. Changes are applied in the order you made them, even if you flip several toggles quickly.

The email address field is trimmed of leading/trailing whitespace automatically before it's saved.

Requirements

You must belong to an organization to manage notification preferences. If your session doesn't have an active organization, the page will prompt you to select one.
